AUTH presents the CAPTAIN DesThi methodology at the ICT4AWE2019 Conference

CAPTAIN project team member and Medical Physics Lab AUTH Research Associate Despoina Petsani attended the 5th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health "ICT4AWE2019", held on 2-4 May in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, presenting the research work of AUTH pilot site on the DesignThinking methodology and the first lessons learned during the first co-creation sessions of the project with the participation of older adults in Greece, entitled “Empathize with the CAPTAIN Stakeholders’ Community towards Understanding Older Adults’ Daily Needs and How They Cope with Them”. 

This is for a collective work of the entire AUTH CAPTAIN team, comprised of Project Coordinator and Assoc. Professor Panagiotis D. Bamidis, Research Associates Despoina Petsani, Antonis Billis, Maria Nikolaidou, Nikolaos Kyriakidis, Despoina Mantziari, Vassiliki Zilidou and Michail Timoleon, as well as of NIVELY product manager and AUTH post-Doc researcher Evdokimos Konstantinidis. 

Ms Petsani received very positive comments about the agile methodology and the co-design approach of CAPTAIN, as well as about the main outcomes of the design thinking sessions with the involvement of Greek older adults.
