Fourth CAPTAIN Plenary and Technical meeting in Leeds

The 4th Plenary (and Technical) meeting of CAPTAIN H2020 European Project, coordinated by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) was successfully held on 04-05 September 2018 in Leeds, UK. The meeting, hosted by AUTH, took place in the premises of the Leeds Institute of Medical Education, School of Medicine, University of Leeds, as a “satellite” event to Medical Education Informatics (MEI 2018) conference, where the CAPTAIN consortium had a remarkable presence, holding an interesting workshop on ethics in the digital age of health and social care.

Concerning the project meeting it was attended by all the project beneficiaries’ representatives. In the first day of the meeting, all the technical partners of the CAPTAIN consortium had the opportunity to discuss on technical matters, overviewing and resetting project objectives. Moreover, technical partners extensively discussed on the agile methodologies which will be adopted by the Living Lab partners (Thess-AHALL, APSS, AMEN) during the pilot trials period. The second day was mainly orientated to the CAPTAIN stakeholders’ community and engagement, as well as on ethics and data management.

At the end of the Plenary meeting, all partners planned and agreed on the next steps of the project and expressed their acknowledgements for the great organization of the meeting and the warm hospitality in Leeds.
