Joint workshop of H2020 projects, coordinated by AUTH partner in the 6th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic Dementia Society

Captain Project had a joint presentation, along with InAdvance project H2020 and Long Lasting Memories-LLM Care service system. between 14th-17th November in the 6th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic Dementia Society in Portaria, Pelion, entitled "Masterclasses in Dementia 2019". Under the initiative of AUTH project coordinator of CAPTAIN, the three projects organized an interactive, experiential workshop on the benefits of both cognitive and physical training, assisted by contemporary technological solutions and methods, for the health and the Quality of Life of older adults.

The CAPTAIN project was represented by AUTH Research Associates Despoina Petsani and Vicky Zilidou. The workshop, entitled, “Mood, Health, Mind, Exercise, Memory, Balance, Technology and Age Body” addressed to both researchers and professionals of working with older adults in the fields of Active and Healthy Ageing.

Except for the workshop, the CAPTAIN project also participated in a special exhibition booth demonstrating pieces of the CAPTAIN box, the e-coach assistant for older adults.
