Virtual Project meeting for the CAPTAIN consortium

Last week, the 16th of July, 2020, the CAPTAIN consortium held another project meeting to discuss the latest updates on the deployment of its eCoaching system for older adults, as well as to schedule future activities and set milestones for the upcoming months.

This time, the meeting was slightly different, as due to the CoVid-19 pandemic, the CAPTAIN partners couldn’t meet physically, as usual, but they took the advantage of using virtual means to facilitate their one-day plenary meeting. All the partners attended the meeting, sharing their views, concerns and ideas for the coming period, which is officially the last stage of CAPTAIN’s journey.

All of them expressed their passionate intention to continue the hard work they have done since the very beginning of the project and to be ready for the final testing phases of the CAPTAIN system with end-users, this fall.

It is noted that in order to mitigate the impact of CoVid-19 on its activities, the CAPTAIN consortium has ensured a three-month extension to the initial working plan and the project is expected to come to its end in February 2021.
