CAPTAIN Living Lab partners (AUTH, AMEN, DCU and INTRAS) joined the 10th edition of the annual gathering of the European Network of Living Labs, the OpenLivingLabDays (OLLDs) Conference, which took place in Thessaloniki, Greece between 3-5 September 2019.
In late June, a representation of APSS, UNITN and SIT CAPTAIN consortium partners had a successful joint participation in the Alzheimer Fest held in Levico terme (TN, Italy).
What is Alzheimer Fest?
Healthcare has an incredible potential for optimization and savings through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). At the same time, however, it is also one of the sectors that has not been digitized so far.
On the 6th-8th May 2019, the CAPTAIN technical partners met in Thessaloniki, Greece, in order to develop, test and integrate the CAPTAIN system. Nively, AUTH, Vicometch, Digiflak and Hololamp attend the meeting in person, while NViso and Salumedia were there through teleconference. The meeting was hosted by the Medical Physics Laboratory of AUTH, which is also the coordinator of the project.

On the occasion of the International Day for Monuments and Sites, on 18 April 2019, CAPTAIN coordinator, AUTH, held a special educational/entertaining event to thank the members of the Medical Physics Lab AUTH "Collaboration & Research Community for the Independent Living" for their close cooperation and valuable help in the framework of the CAPTAIN sprints and other co-creation research activities of the Laboratory.
