Innovative progress through digitization of nursing activities: success factor digital coach

Which methods and technologies are suitable for turning the living environment of older adults into a "digital coach"? How can carers be motivated to use new technologies to anonymously collect medical, emotional and behavioural data? And how can such technologies be used to develop new forms of assisted living? In the context of these questions, two student groups from the University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg have worked under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Carsten Reuter on a survey and desk analysis with questions on regulatory and legal framework conditions and the impact of the use of innovative mental health support.

2nd Sprint and a special parallel event for the CAPTAIN stakeholders by AUTH and NOESIS museum in Thessaloniki

In the second half of March, AUTH, CAPTAIN partner, led by its pilot site, the Thessaloniki Active & Healthy Ageing Living Lab, ran its 2nd Sprint, and accordingly the 2nd design thinking session, with the active participation of end-users –older adults, their caregivers and professionals from the healthcare sector.

Salumedia’s workshop on e-health and potential synergies for CAPTAIN project

In the end of June, CAPTAIN project partner Salumedia held a 3-hour workshop on e-health at its premises in Sevilla, Spain. The main objective of the workshop, entitled “Introducing CAPTAIN to external institutions & potential synergies”, was to disseminate Salumedia's strategy and the CAPTAIN project to some of company’s close collaborators around the world.
